Once the student has been accepted a £500.00 deposit is required to secure the place. This deposit will however be returned after the final terms fees and any outstanding balance have been paid in full.
Fees are increased annually by £100 per term.
Fees for Early Years & Reception -September 2016/17
£2520 per term: ages 3 - 5
In addition, all nursery scheme payment will be maintained by Laughing Learners.
Fees for Junior school - September 2016/2017
£2900 per term: ages 5-10
Fees for Senior school - September 2016/2017
£3000 per term: ages 11-16
Fees can however be increased at any time if deemed necessary by the Principal.
School fees are payable termly by the end of the first week of every term, any fees unpaid by the end of the first week of term will incur a 10% late payment fee.
Costs for books, IDTA, LAMDA & LCM exams and GCSE’s are NOT included in the fees.
Exclusion of a pupil may follow if fees are not promptly paid thereafter without a valid explanation.
A term’s notice must be given in writing, before a child is withdrawn from the school, or a term’s fees in lieu of notice must be paid.
The principal can at any time ask for a pupil to be withdrawn from the school for failure to comply with the terms of payment above, persistent bad behaviour, gross misconduct, continuous unauthorised absence or failure to make a concerted improvement after a final warning. Under these circumstances no refund of fees or deposit will be made.
The School day starts at 8.45am and finishes at 4.00pm, lateness and absences are monitored. The school must be informed of an absence whatever the reason by 9.30am on the day of the absence. A doctors certificate will be required for three or more days absence through illness. Persistent lateness or absence without good reason has to be reported to the local education authority and may result in exclusion or prosecution.
Holidays must not be taken during term time.
